Rum
As you approach Rum, the rugged mountains set a dramatic stage for spectacular wildlife and archaeology. Circling eagles glide on outstretched wings overhead, majestic red deer graze on the hillsides and lithe otters frolic between sea and land. In summer, Manx shearwaters veer onto the island at dusk, calling as they go, whilst the brooding mountains with their ancient history overlook it all.
