Muir of Dinnet
The visitor centre has recently been updated and new information panels installed.
A model of the reserve maps all the habitats, shows you paths and routes to follow and where features on the reserve are. The panels tell the story of how the different elements of the reserve evolved and what you are likely to see once you are out exploring.
The visitor centre is only a short distance (200metres) from the car park with a well surfaced and level path connecting the two.
The visitor centre is open: Easter to October - 9-5pm October to Easter - 10-4pm (Staff permitting)

The toilets are open all year round and can be found a short distance beyond the visitor centre. One of these toilets is wheelchair accessible and also has baby changing facilities.
There are two picnic benches near the visitor centre, they are both wheelchair accessible with a surfaced track to them.
Around the visitor centre and car park there are 3 benches made of recycled plastic with backrests and arms. Most are low off the ground and all are set on uneven grass with no surfaced route to them. There is informal perch seating on the Vat trail and the Little Ord trail.
