Consultation Report for Knockan Crag NNR
During January to March 2008 we consulted on the future management for Knockan Crag NNR. The comments received and our response to them are included in the attached report.
As a result of the consultation we will shortly publish a Reserve Plan for Knockan Crag.

The Reserve Plan for Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve
The Reserve Plan for Knockan Crag NNR sets out how we intend to manage the Reserve from 2008-2015.
There are three main sections to the plan:
Management of the Heritage
Management for People
Property Management
We consulted on the content of the plan in 2008 and incorporated changes as a result of the consultation.

The Story of Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve
The Reserve Story has background information on Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve and its history. It briefly describes the wildlife on the Reserve, the history of the land use before it became a Reserve, and past management of wildlife, people and property on the Reserve.
