Filming on NNRs

With superb wildlife and dramatic landscapes, NNRs provide ideal locations throughout Scotland for filming, broadcasting and photography.

NNRs offer a range of island, coastal, forest and mountain settings that attract production companies and photographers from around the world. Iconic locations such as Beinn Eighe, the Isle of Rum and Loch Leven, and their wildlife, feature regularly in natural history productions for television and radio.
